Why won’t my front hair wave straighten my straightener is from revlon and its a tourmaline one!? puh-lez help?

my other hair kinda straightens but the front wave just won’t stay straight it will be straight for like 15 mins and then again back to its original shape its soo annoyin and i have tried other irons too i have to try the CHI yet though but i am saving up for it any suggestions plzz help
