Revlon Volumizing Shampoo

Volumizing Help?

I have medium-length *very* straight, fine, thin hair. It doesn’t fall nicely so I’ve always had to pull it back (or I get a head of strings in 10 minutes) and I’m sick of it. I use volumizing shampoos and conditioners and I’ve tried Revlon and Pantene mousse and teasing, using a curling iron + hairspray – the kind meant for thin hair, don’t remember brand – but even that proved too much and my waves/curls were 100% gone within the hour. My hair would look good wavy but not curly so a perm is out (plus I like my hair to remain healthy!). Does anyone with hair this stubborn have any tips?

I haven’t tried rollers yet since the braid trick has never worked for me (indeed my hair is too fine to braid) so I didn’t want to invest the money. Help? Please? Hair salons/stylists have been of no use O.o

nothing is going to make your hair curl because of your hair type. you would have to chemically change the texture of your hair to hold a curl.
