Revlon RV499 Worldwide dual voltage dryer: Can i use it on 220V?

I bought the Revlon 1875 Watt Dryer model: RV499. It’s dual voltage is 125v/250v but i’m traveling to France where the voltage is 220v. Can it be used there on the 250v setting w/o a problem?

Is it actually listed that way? most all dual voltage products are specified for 120/240 or 110/220 volts. the only specs I could find on this unit just said “dual voltage worldwide operation”

Any appliance specified for 110 or 120 will actually operate over a range of 105 to 125 volts.

And any appliance specified for 220 or 240 will actually operate over a range of 210 to 250 volts.

so you are fine.

edit, interestingly, I searched the Revlon web site, and they don’t make this product. Probably a chinese fake.
