How do you dye your hair Red after you’ve dyed it Black?

I dyed my hair with Revlon Colorsilk. I know that it does wash out at least a little bit when you use really hot water and it does fade out a bit after a few months but I was wondering if anyone knew another way to get it done faster because I want to dye my hair a dark red for a few months.

if you have only put a semi permanent colour on then you can wash your hair in a medicated shampoo, like voseen or similar, that strips colour from hair so will speed up the fading process if you wash with it on a regular basis.

the other alternative is to go to a salon and have a bleach bath, or bleach shampoo, this can really damage the hair though
