Revlon Pure White

Why did Revlon discontinue my basic white ColorStay Eyeshadow shade?

The last few months I’ve noticed that Revlon ColorStay 12-Hour Eyeshadow has a limited selection in the drug stores around me, and this limited selection does not include the bright white “01 Pure Pearl”, a vital piece of my everyday makeup routine. They carry “02 White Whisper”, which is almost the same color as my super pale skin … maybe sliiightly lighter, but not the *zing!* I get from the super white accent color. I’ve had to order it online, and then I worry about it being out of date and bad for me. I prefer ColorStay over even the expensive Sephora brands because it’s made to be long lasting, which is surprisingly hard to find in those big names (which seem to focus on packaging and high quality). Anyone know why they would discontinue a basic white shade, and also any other brand of eyeshadow that is as good?
