Which straightener should I get for my extremely thick hair?

I recently got my hair cut in long layers (think Blake Lively) I have extremely thick hair that is difficult to straighten. I am also a college student so I’m looking for something that straighten my hair fairly quickly so I don’t have to spend 987987 hours on it.
Which straightener should I get? ( I don’t want a CHI because I can’t afford it):

Never get Conair! There Straightners are horrible, and burn your scalp. Trust me, it’s horrible!

I suggest the Remington. I had that one and it was great for thick hair, it lasted great and had a cute design. Plus you can move it place to place and it takes fast to heat up. I switched to Solia though, because it’s faster to straighten.

If your interested in Solia, it’s great. It’s 80 dollars, cheaper and better than Chi. It works on all hair types. If you go on youtube and search Solia Straightner, you’ll see all these great reveiws on it.
