how to look more awake.?

i have really dark undereye circles from staying up late and i think it`s heriditary as well. i want to look more awake and less tired, and it`s the undereye circles that are my main problem. i usually wear mascara, revlon colorstay eyeshadow “in the buff”, and clinique perfectly real powder. i was thinking of getting the clinique perfectly real liquid foundationa nd benefit`s ooh la lift, but i don`t know if that will help hide the circles.

can anyone give me a makeup routine/look that will make me look more awake and less tired.? if possible, can you list any good concealers [my dark circles are more of a brownish tone].?

i`ve tried various yellow concealers and they don`t help at all..
