What is the best relaxer to use on African American thick hair?

I hair some what thick long African American hair. I use to use Revlon hair relaxer but lately it has been burning me really bad so my hair dresser told me to buy dark and lovely hair relaxer I did my hair about 3 weeks ago and now it looks like my hair was not done at all. I need a relaxer that is gonna make my hair straight and not frizzy at all. Thanks much
