How do I go about getting bleach- colored hair?

I’m gonna wait until it grows out a bit to just below boob length…so maybe 6 months at most. Anyway, my hair is already naturally blonde. Its very very healthy- no split ends, hydrated. But, its gotten that ‘grayish tint’ that natural blondes get when their hair starts to go mousy brown. My hair is still in the blonde range, but some ppl have called it light brown. I’m thinking of putting a lot of streaks in it, really light streaks. I want to do it by myself, under 50 bucks. I was also thinkin of buying that 10 min roots stuff, you know, with the comb? I think its by revlon. What do you guys think I should do? I want hair in the range of strawberry blonde, but I don’t want it with a red tinge. Ya know? Thanks, advice would be cool.

I don’t think you know what you want…strawberry blonde is redish blonde. you should get some hair swatches and figure out which one you want by holding it across your forehead so you can see how it coordinates with your skin tone and eye color. Being a medium blonde I think you would be fine with 20 volume developer, to get the amount of lift you were looking for.
