Why wont my Hair color change? (ive dyed it about 10x already)

the last time i dyed my hair i used a powder hair dye. (black & i ve had this color for 2 months)
and Last night i tried to dye it BURGUNDY (revlon)
& NOTHING CHANGED not even a hint of red.
What do i do or what product do i use?
No Bleaching!

nothing is going to happen.
color doesnt lift color.
sry but yu’d hav to strip it to get that black out.
