Best Drugstore Foundation for prom and photos?

So prom season is here and i want a good drugstore foundation that will not smudge and leave streaks and if so sweat repellent. Also photos will be taken right? I want one that will make me look good and not orange and stuff.

my shade in MAC is NC25-30 (more into 25 but i fit both)

i heard revlon colorstay active is really good but i searched Walgreen’s/CVS and i only saw Revlon colorstay

Revlon colorstay active is indeed a good foundation for that, but it’s usually not advised to wear foundation with sunscreen (SPF factor) for the evening or for a party because it may not look good in photographs. These 2 youtube videos will explain why that happens in more details, and they will also give some ideas on how to make your makeup stay longer. The first one is especially made for prom. I know the girl in the video is using Lancome products, but I will suggest some drugstore alternatives. She also uses too much makeup sometimes, so I watch her videos for advice and ideas but I don’t usually follow step by step.

For an excellent drugstore primer, try Rimmel fix and perfect. Don’t be alarmed by its peach color, it goes colorless on skin. For foundation, try Rimmel lasting finish, this provides medium-full coverage and will last very well throughout the night. For less coverage but also great staying power try Rimmel stay matte+skinpure complex (make sure it says “skinpure complex” because the regular stay matte isn’t good quality). You can also try Maybelline superstay 24hour, but this can look heavy and dull on skin, so test out carefully before you buy it, which I actually recommend you do for all foundations.

For good powders that will help your foundation last longer try Covergirl TruBlend pressed powder, or L’oreal bare naturale soft-focus mineral finish. If you want to use a concealer too, a good one is Maybelline age rewind, which provides a dry long lasting finish, and can double up as an eye shadow primer without you having to buy a separate product.

Try your makeup look some day before your prom night and take pictures; make sure that it looks good on you and is not too heavy and that the foundation is not accentuating any dry areas/patches on your face, if you have any.
