How do I get my makeup to look fresh all day without having to reapply it?

I’ve always wondered how to keep my makeup fresh looking. My skin is not particularly oily but, my forehead will sometimes look greasy and I’ve noticed my eye shadow does not stay on all the time. By the end of the day it has caked on creases on my eyelids and just looks a mess. I do not have the ability to reapply it while at work but, I would love to hear some tips on how to keep it looking fresh all day long.

I use estee lauder for everything but my liquid foundation.
My liquid foundation is covergirl true blend. I use both liquid foundation and put powder on over it as well.
I wear loose powder over the liquid foundation and my eye shadow is powder as well.

Try using some primer. It’s like an invisible net under your make-up and doubles as a canvas for your make-up.
I find that a REALLY good brand is Smashbox.
