Severe, itchy, red, rash and bumps on arms? How to treat?

I’m outdoors during the summer, and I take care of my garden. This year, I’ve seem to have gotten this bumpy red itchly dilemma on my arms, and then ‘it’ attached my ears and my temples!

I don’t know what has caused this, more sun exposure? Pesticides? Because I’ve been gardening for 5 years now, and nothing has ever occured to me like this before.

I’ve tried this avon creams, estee lauder lotions, anti-itch ointment, plain yogurt, aloe vera, vaseline – but they are not treating my problem. Also I don’t have any allergies.

This had gone on for more than a week and half now. But dermetology isn’t in my health insurance, so I’m trying to hold out a little longer.

Do you have any idea or tips on how to treat this problem?

Another possibility to consider is poison ivy/oak/sumac. It doesn’t even have to be growing in your yard for you to be exposed – there’s a question here on Answers now from someone who got poison ivy by picking up a cat who’d gotten into some. Urushiol, the active oil, is amazingly persistent and stays potent seemingly forever – people have gotten contaminated from plants that have been dead for 10 years.
If you have animals which roam outside, it’s definitely something to consider. It would also be worth checking with your neighbors to see if anyone else is having similar problems.
