What should a middle class semi-hip young mother wear?

Not slutty or anything, I grew up low income and it is really hard to stop buying used and clearance. I have no fashion sense – never could afford to growing up but want to look nice, well put together, clean and fresh. I wear very little makeup- maybe once every 3 months! but would definitely be willing to try again. I have quality makeup from sephora and clinique beyond that I need a complete overhaul. Please provide links of pictures so I know what you are talking about. I need ideas on shoes all the way to do girls wear hats anymore to what kind of purse- I prefer to buy one quality one and use it every warm season and same for winter. Thank you so much!
I am 5’4 105 lbs, 34c, size 0 pants I kind of have hips if I look really hard lol and I am a light olive tone complexion. Dark brown wavy hair american indian type texture, dark brown eyes, good eyelashes, my hair is really short, heart shaped face.

Really all that matters is that you feel comfortable and feel that you look good. I think it’s important for everyone to have a few pairs of jeans that really fit well, some pencil skirts, really nice fitting colorful t shirts and tank tops, structured jackets, nice sweaters and cardigans, and a couple great dresses. Get a bunch of fun hair accessories, belts, jewelry, scarves, etc. That way you don’t end up looking the same everyday.

Go to a couple department stores and look around for purses. The trend right now is to have a really large bag, which does come in handy a lot. Hats are worn, but not too much. If you find one you like, wear it. I think the perfect shoes for everday casual are a pair of dark, sporty shoes (not sneakers), ballet flats, and strappy sandals. A pair of heels is always a good thing to have on hand.
