Makeup Samples?

I have a friend who just fought and beat Breast Cancer. I’m so proud of her. Before she was diagnosed she loved Clinique makeup. But while in treatment she couldn’t wear it because it really made her skin act up. As a gift I want to take her to Clinique and buy her a bunch of stuff. Before I do that I have to test products out on her face in case her skin does act up. It would take her a few days to see if the makeup would react good or bad on her. Would it be appropriate to go to my local Clinique counter and ask for a bunch of samples, do they carry good samples? she is still worn out and cant go out shopping yet.

hi there! you can definitely ask for free samples from these make up stores. you can simply tell them what you just told us here and i’m sure they will be more than happy to help you out. if they give you dirty looks, just don’t mind them, you’re the customer. it’s better to get samples than buying the whole actual product and end up returning them if they didn’t work for your friend. they would lose a lot more money by selling you the whole thing and getting it back (because it’s gonna be useless and they wouldn’t be able to sell that anymore) than giving you a bunch of free samples. does that make sense to you?
